Seer pleads for donation for Saalumarada Thimmakka and people oblige generously

Akki mutt seer Gurulinga Swami appealed for donation for Saalumarada Thimmakka at Parisara Jatre. People obliged whole heartedly and donated from Rs 10 to Rs 10,000. The seer collected the entire donation and gave it to Saalumarada Thimmakka.

During the environment festival, Parisara Jatre, at Agadai village, Joligeyoddi taluk, in Haveri district the seer of Akkimutt Gurulinga Swamy expressed his displeasure at the financial problems of Saalumarada Thimmakka and appealed to the public to donate.  He was speaking at the inauguration of 12,000 sapling planting program as part of the Parisara Jatre at the Municipal High School on Sunday.  Immediately Minister Lamani donated Rs 10,000. People donated whole heartedly, offered from Rs 10 to Rs 10,000. Some declared that they would credit Rs 500 in to Thimmakka’s account every month.

Seer collected the entire amount and gave it to Saalumarada Thimmakka.
