
A joint team of police officers and railway officials travelled by the Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) train between Byappanahalli and Whitefield on Tuesday to get a feedback from commuters, reports Kannada Prabha. Bengaluru East Additional Commissioner Seemanthakumar Singh, Whitefield DCP Abdul Ahmad, railway officials got on to the train at Kadugodi and interacted with commuters to get their feedback. Seemanthakumar Singh said adequate security will be provided to commuters on the train. Northeatsern Railway officer Sridhara Murthy said the commuters had demanded two to three additional trains and it will be considered, soon.
