Synopsis

A cab driver was beaten up and handed over to police for flashing school girl on the road A case under POCSO has been booked against him at Kodigehalli police station Another case under POCSO has been booked at Amruthahalli station against an auto driver for misbehaving with 2 young girls  

A cab driver stopped a 14-year-old school girl on the road and flashed leaving her shocked. As she screamed, passersby came to her help, beat him up and handed him over to the police at Bhadrappa Layout junction in Hebbal, on Tuesday, reports Kannada Prabha.

The accused has been identified as Mohammad Muqsar (30) of Kodigehalli. A case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been booked against him at Kodigehalli police station.

In another incident, yet another case under POCSO has been booked at Amruthahalli station against an auto driver Rajesh (28) for misbehaving with 2 young girls. Three days ago, the girls aged 8 and 10 were playing near their house on Saturday. Rajesh, their neighbour had arrived there and touched them inappropriately. On Monday, when the mothers of the children were chatting the girls told them that “Rajesh uncle had misbehaved” with them. Immediately, the mothers lodged complaint against him. Rajesh has been taken to custody.
