
Unlike every year, Sandalwood's Hat-Trick hero Shivarajkumar will not be celebrating his 55th birthday on July 12 as he is still mourning the death of his mother Parvathamma Rajkumar.
His birthday is a big day for his legion of fans who celebrate it with much fan fare. It has been a tradition that Shivanna cuts a huge cake amidst sea of fans at his residence. However, this year, it has been reported that he would not be celebrating his birthday as he has not yet come out of the loss of his mother, who passed away in May. He had even asked his fans to desist from celebrating his birthday in a grand manner.
Shivarajkumar has reportedly urged his fans not to spend money on cut-outs, posters or banners to celebrate birthday. Instead, they could donate it to orphanages or also support education of the poor students, reports Kannada Prabha.
Meanwhile, the team of 'Tagaru' in which Shivarajkumar is acting has donated Rs one lakh towards the Karnataka Police Relief Fund as a gift to his birthday. Shivarajkumar along with 'Tagaru' director Suri and producer Shrikanth handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to ADGP Bhaskar Rao.
"The contribution of police is immense to ensure our safety. The 'Tagaru' movie has scenes from police department. In recognition of their service, we decided to contribute to their relief fund to mark Shivanna's birthday," reports Kannada Prabha quoting producer Shrikanth.
Also, the team of 'Mass Leader,' Shivarajkumar's another upcoming move has planned to launch the making video in a quiet ceremony on July 12. Apart from 'Tagaru', 'Mass Leader', Shivaraj Kumar is also acting in 'Khadar', 'Eesuru Dange', 'Badshah' and yet another untitled which is a remake of Malayalam movie 'Oppam'.
