Minister MB Patil accuses Centre of tapping his and his family members' phones

CM Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy had earlier accused the Central Government of tapping State ministers' phones Minister MB Patil is the latest to complain. He said he will provide proof on this  Patil's accusation is that the phone lines of his wife, daughter and also of his lawyer's were being tapped 

Water Resources Minister MB Patil has made a serious allegation that his phone and also the phones of his family members and close associates were being tapped. He said he would lodge a complaint against it soon, reports Kannada Prabha.

Speaking to Suvarna News, Minister Patil said "My friends who are technical experts have informed me about it. Not only my phone, but that of my family members, my lawyer's phone was also being tapped. This came to light when a test was done through a software. It is confirmed now. BJP is attempting to scare me in view of the forthcoming elections. This is a democratic country. It is an invasion of my privacy. I will lodge a complaint in this regard."

Recently, BJP leader R Ashok had alleged that Congress was tapping the phones of BJP leaders. This set of a series of counter allegations from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy who accused that Central Government of tapping state ministers' phones.

Responding to Patil’s allegation, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy reiterated that 'I had earlier said that phone lines of 30 state ministers were being tapped." But minister Reddy dismissed it as insignificant and asked his colleagues to focus on serving the people as they have very less time.
