Karnataka soldier involved in Surgical Strikes bitten by poisonous snake, hospitalised

Santhosh Kumar, a soldier was rushed to private hospital after he was bitten by a poisonous snake Minister Khader rushes to his help in the dead of the night, arranges for injections The solider is recovering now

Food and Civil Supplies Minister UT Khader played a good Samaritan part by helping a soldier who was bitten by a poisonous snake in Mangaluru. The soldier identified as Santhosh Kumar had come to his native to attend a family function.

It is reported that minister Khader received a call at 1.15 am on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday seeking his help in arranging injections for Santosh Kumar. According to The Times of India, Santhosh's brother called up the minister in the dead of the night and expressed his helplessness in buying medicines - at least 10 - required for Santhosh. Santhosh was admitted in a private hospital.

 

 

The minister, it is reported that, immediately rushed to the hospital in 15 minutes. The minister called up the Government Wenlock Hospital and arranged for the injections that were later administered to Santhosh. It is reported that Khader visited Santhosh again on Monday morning and enquired his health. Santhosh is recovering now.

Santhosh was part of the troop that conducted Surgical strikes on Pakistan last year. A resident of Mudipu Kodakallu on the outskirts of Mangaluru, Santhosh was bitten by a poisonous snake.
