BJP's Uttara Kannada MP, Anantkumar Hegde, was campaigning in Karwar for the Karnataka Elections 2018. He fired the Congress and the JDS claiming that they don't worry about people, and indulge in buying votes. He also questioned the Congress government in the state as to why temples and mutts are being brought under their control, but mosques are left alone.
