7 dissident JD(S) legislators will be joining Congress by December or January The decision to welcome them was taken after the meeting with Rahul Gandhi Several leaders from BJP are also keen on joining Congress but the party is hesitant      

The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that seven dissident JD(S) legislators will be joining Congress by December or January. The decision to welcome former MLC Ramakrishna and the seven rebel from JD(S) leaders officially into Congress by December or January was taken after the meeting with AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday night, reports Kannada Prabha. KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar was present at the meeting. Rahul Gandhi has taken the responsibility of protecting them in the party. 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that several BJP leaders are keen to join Congress but the party is hesitant to take them. After the meeting, Chief Minister, other State leaders flew in a special chartered flight along with Rahul Gandhi to Delhi to meet the high command.
