Bengaluru was flooded, but there was less reason to rejoice for the people as the failure of planning and drainage made the water (including the from the gutter) gush into the houses.
Independence Day celebration was cancelled in many schools and stadiums, and the places scheduled for the celebration were inundated with water. WIth almost everyone inside the house, the roads were empty, rather filled with water than vehicles.
