Bengaluru is likely to get two centimetre rainfall for next two days. According to Sunder Metri,  Director of Indian Meteorological Department, Karnataka, said, "Coastal Karnataka consisting of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada, will receive heavy rainfall for the next two days. The impact of the depression will be felt in the interiors of South Karnataka. Places like Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kolar, Mandya, Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Shivamogga and other parts will also experience rainfall. Similarly, moderate rainfall can be expected at isolated places in the interiors of North Karnataka consisting of Belgaum, Hubballi and Dharwad and neighbouring districts."

According to sources, apart from coastal areas, which are experiencing rainfall from yesterday (March 14), it is raining heavily at Kengeri, Uttarahalli and surrounding areas. This has caused heavy traffic jam in various places in Bengaluru.
