FB horror in B'luru: 13-year-old boy records parents' intimate moments in bedroom, shares it with Facebook friend

This could be every parents' nightmare. A 13-year-old Bengaluru boy allegedly videographed private, intimate moments of his parents in his mobile phone and allegedly shared it with his Facebook friend.

The shocking incident from Namma Bengaluru is sure to force the parents to think (not just twice) before allowing their children to use the social media. The boy allegedly opened a Facebook account and sent friend requests to random people. Also, he accepted friend requests without taking care to verify them. One of them was Tejal Patel who soon struck a friendship with the boy.

They would chat for hours on Facebook and became "trusted friends". Taking advantage of the innocent boy, Patel would converse with the boy on sexual issues and also had sent him obscene pictures, reports Suvarna News. Over the course of their friendship, Patel who had managed to win the trust of the boy, allegedly coaxed him to videograph and send him the private intimate moments of his parents.

Shockingly, the boy agreed and allegedly captured his parents when they were in bedroom on his phone and shared it with Patel. The parents had a shock of their life, when the boy's father received a message blackmailing him for money on his WhatsApp by Patel. Embarrassed and deeply shocked, the parents have now approached the Bengaluru police and the police have now launched a manhunt for Patel. The cyber crime branch police are verifying the IP address of his facebook account to track him down.

The police are also expected to grill the boy as the case has been booked under under Section 67 in the IT Act, 2000 - punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form. The incident must be a lesson for every parents who take pride in social media skills of their children, especially teenage kids.
