Exclusive: Sandalwood actor Chetan reacts to Dileep controversy, writes to Mohanlal-led AMMA

Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has come under heavy criticism over its decision to take back controversial actor Dileep. Actor Mohanlal, who took over the reins of the association drew flak for the move, many calling it insensitive. Sandalwood actor Chetan along with Shruti Hariharan and 50 others from Film Industry for Rights and Equality (FIRE) shot a letter to AMMA decrying its decision to re-induct the actor, who is accused in abduction and assault case of a south Indian actress. Asianet Newsable spoke to Chetan about the controversy and he explained why it is important for Sandalwood to speak up.
