An engineering student from Tumakuru has succumbed to dengue in Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru.

Sushmitha Aradhya from Chikkanayakanahalli in Tumakuru was pursuing engineering in MS Ramaiah College in Bengaluru. She felt feverish on Sunday and was admitted to the Chikkanayakanahalli Government Hospital. Later, she was shifted to Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru.

Even though the doctors tried to save her with the medicines they had, the fever had increased, and she died as she failed to respond to the treatment. Sushmita is the only daughter of Nagaraju and Anupama, who own Renuka Stores.
