The murder of RSS worker Sharath Madiwala in BC Road near Mangaluru that attained nationwide attention has taken a new twist with some startling facts stumbling out. Now, it has come to light that the hospital authorities allegedly hid Sharath's actual death date.

According to a report in Vijayavani, a private hospital where grievously injured Sharath was admitted had stated that Sharath had died on July 7 at 8 pm, while his death report confirms that he was dead on July 6 at 12.30 am itself.

In fact, the alleged delay in announcing his death is said to allow chief minister Siddaramaiah's programme scheduled on July 7 near Mangaluru. The district administration had lifted Section 144 for a few hours to allow Siddaramaiah's programme. This was severely criticised by the Opposition BJP which blamed Siddaramaiah for escalating tension in the region by holding programme amidst Section 144. Later in the day, it was reported that Sharath breathed his last. However, Sharath's death report now confirms that he died one day earlier - July 6 - not when he was declared dead on July 7, reports Vijayavani.

Sharath Madiwala, a young RSS worker was hacked to death near his laundry shop by unknown miscreants. He was rushed to a private hospital at Thumbay before being shifted to another hospital in Mangaluru. After battling for life for two days, Sharath breathed his last at the hospital.

Sharath's parents who were told that his chances of survival were bleak, the parents had decided to donate his organs. But their decision could not be full-filled over delay in announcing his death, reports Vijayavani.

Meanwhile, the Additional Director General of Police (Law and order) Alok Mohan told mediapersons in Mangaluru that the police have got lead in RSS worker Sharath's murder and the police team are working on it. Arrests will be made soon, he added. The police have arrested 17 persons who were allegedly indulged in stone pelting during Sharath's funeral procession.
