Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will play himself in the upcoming bilingual Children's movie, 'Summer Holidays'. The movie is being directed by noted film-maker Kavita Lankesh. Interestingly, he has just one-minute scene in the movie with just a dialogue. However, Kavitha Lankesh had a tough time to convince the chief minister to act in her movie, as he had conditions - no violence, no obscene scenes, reports Kannada Prabha.
Siddaramaiah will shoot for his part on Thursday after facing the camera for the 'Weekend With Ramesh' talk show on the same day.
Not many know that Siddaramaih had acted in Kavita Lankesh's father P Lankesh's movie, 'Ellindalo Bandavaru'. Now, by agreeing to act in Kavitha's movie, perhaps, he has the credit of acting in both father and daughter's movies, reports Kannada Prabha. In fact, former chief minister Ramakrishna Hegade too had faced the camera for the critically acclaimed 'Marana Mridanga'.
After her 'Kariya Kanbitta' (2015) Kavitha Lankesh is directing the movie in which her daughter Eshwa will be making her debut. The movie will also have Kavitha's nephew and filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh's son Samarjit. Beautiful Suman Nagarkar is playing the role of Esha's mother in the movie.
