
"If my son Rakesh was alive, he would have been contesting the 2018 elections. But... that was not be," grieved Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a talk show "Weekend With Ramesh". Siddaramaiah who usually never lets his guard down reportedly appeared emotional when he spoke about his elder son, who died last year, reports Kannada Prabha.
This and other unknown facets of Siddaramaiah's personal and political life will be unravelled at the show which will be aired on June 24 and 25 at 9 pm.
Siddaramaiah shot for his episode at the Abbaiah Naidu Studio on Thursday. He arrived with his gang of friends and ministers to the studio. His younger son Dr Yatindra accompanied him, his grandchildren and other friends from his native were also there. The programme organisers have managed to get Siddaramaiah's childhood friends to share their bond with him in the show. However, Siddaramaiah's wife reportedly did not participate in the show.
