Bus driver dies of cardiac arrest but saves 35 passengers

Synopsis

This incident happened at Lakannahalli in Sira taluk of Karnataka. The 46-year-old driver suffered a fatal cardiac arrest and he was declared dead on arrival by doctors. 

 

A private bus driver suffered a cardiac arrest while driving and passed away. However, before dying, he saved the lives of 35 passengers sitting inside the bus. 

 

This incident happened at Lakannahalli in Sira taluk of Karnataka on March 18 when the 46-year-old driver suffered a fatal cardiac arrest, and he was declared dead on arrival by doctors. 

 

When the driver suffered from the cardiac arrest, he somehow managed to apply brakes and stop the vehicle after hitting a mound. The conductor then took control, and everyone in the bus escaped unhurt. According to reports, a case has been registered at the Pattanyakanahalli police station.
