Bengaluru shame: Womens' college professor tries kissing student

Synopsis

A student alleged that a lecturer tried molesting her after seeing her in a new dress.  The student immediately filed a complaint in the college. No police complaint has been filed in this matter. 

 

In a shameful incident, a college lecturer of a government women’s college has been accused of molesting a student. The victim alleged that the lecturer kissed her seeing her in a new dress.

 

According to a report, the Department of Collegiate Education (DCE) has already removed the professor from the college in question, and he has been sent to a government college located in Kalaburgi district on deputation as a response to the complaint by the student. 

 

The student has not lodged any police complaint against the lecturer; the Deccan Chronicle quoted sources in higher education department as saying. This source also claimed that this incident happened on March 16. 

 

Commissioner, Department of Collegiate Education, Dr Ajay Nagabhushan MN, confirmed that the complaint was forwarded to them by the principal of the college.
