ACB finds three wives along with disproportionate assets in this case

Synopsis

ACB officers raided the houses of Marigadi, acting Deputy Registrar of Hoovinahadagali They found that three wives of Marigadi did not have any documents regarding marriage They also found Rs 3.5 lakh cash and have seized his vehicles

 

Acting Deputy Registrar of Hoovinahadagali in Bellary district K Marigadi’s houses was raided by the ACB on Thursday and found that he had two wives who did not have any marriage certificate and the other one had applied for a divorce. The officers also found some cash and many sites registered in the names of his wives and relatives.

 

When ACB officers reached Huligemma’s house, she introduced herself as Marigadi’s first wife but did not have any marriage documents. When they reached another house resided by Yellamma, she introduced herself as Marigadi’s second wife but told them that she had applied for a divorce. Then the officers moved to the third house, where Sudha was residing. Sudha said that she was Marigadi’s third wife, but like others, she too did not have proper documents.

 

ACB also searched the houses of Deed Writer Althaf, MM Kotresh and Sooryanarayana, known as his close aides. They are inspecting the documents in their houses.

 

The officers found Rs 3.5 lakh cash and an apartment registered in his son’s name. One car and two two-wheelers have been seized. The primary investigation has revealed that he has property disproportionate to his assets.
