Bidar records 7 degree Celsius, lowest in State

Several districts in the State have reported drop in temperature with Bidar recording the lowest of 7 degrees. Recorded at 8.30 am on Sunday Halabarga in Bidar showed 7.2 degree Celsius. According to the officials of Natural Disaster Management Centre usually temperature drops to single digit in Bidar. However whether 7.2 degree is the lowest till now needs to be verified.

After suffering the heavy rains the State is now reeling under cold. Several districts in the State have reported drop in temperature with Bidar recording the lowest of 7 degrees, reported Kannada Prabha.

Recorded at 8.30 am on Sunday Halabarga in Bidar showed 7.2 degree Celsius. Kalaburgi district recorded 9.30 degree C, Vijayapura 9.90 degree C and Dharawada 9.30 degree C. In Bengaluru also the temperature dropped to 12.10 degree C. Mysuru recorded 10 degree C, Raichru, Belagavi, Shimoga, Hasana, Chikkamagaluru, Bagalakote, Uttara kannada, Yadagiri and surrounding regions recorded 11 to 11.8 degree C.

In Tumakuru, Haveri and other districts 12 to 12.60 degree C were recorded. According to the officials of Natural Disaster Management Centre usually temperature drops to single digit in Bidar but whether 7.2 degree is the lowest till now needs to be verified.
