The intelligence report has warned of chemical attack by terrorists at major public transportation sites like airports, railway stations and bus stands. Union Home Ministry has warned all security agencies to be alert, reports Kannada Prabha.

Intelligence agencies have found a clue that terrorists may attack airports, railway stations and bus stands where large number of people assemble. Hence all security agencies are put on high alert, sources say. Letters have been written to Industrial Security Force to arrange for additional security.

Chemical attack could be through toxic gas, chemical powder, insecticides, acids mixed in food, medicine, drinks and cleaning agents. Toxic gases released in an enclosed place like airport could be highly fatal, sources at the ministry expressed.
