A 38-year-old man from Tamil Nadu was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a private lodge in Maruti Nagar, Madiwala, raising several questions for investigators. The incident came to light after lodge staff reportedly found the man lying unconscious in a room late on Wednesday night. He was later declared dead, following which police launched an investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the case.

The deceased has been identified as Murali alias Madhu, a resident of Puliampatti in Tamil Nadu.

Shocking Details Emerge During Investigation

Preliminary police investigations have uncovered several suspicious details linked to the case. According to officials, the lodge room where Murali was found had been booked in another person’s name.

Police suspect that Murali had entered the room without any official entry being made in the lodge records. Investigators also revealed that the person who was allegedly staying with Murali fled the lodge soon after his death, further deepening suspicion surrounding the incident.

Questions Over Cause of Death

During the inspection of the room, police reportedly found traces of blood around Murali’s mouth. The discovery has prompted investigators to examine multiple possibilities, including whether the death was caused by a drug overdose, a medical condition, or foul play.

Officials said the exact cause of death would be confirmed only after the post-mortem examination.

Body Sent for Post-Mortem Examination

Murali’s body has been shifted to St. John’s Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police have also informed his family members in Tamil Nadu about the incident.

The Madiwala police have registered a case and launched a search for the person who allegedly escaped from the lodge after the incident. Further investigation is underway.
