A dispute over the purchase of liquor turned violent at a bar in Bengaluru on Sunday after a group of men attacked the bar staff following an argument over liquor prices. These men went to the Millennium Bar in Bengaluru's Nagarabhavi neighbourhood at approximately 7 p.m. to purchase booze. Customers and bar staff allegedly got into a violent altercation after an argument over the cost of alcohol broke out.

During the clash, the men allegedly assaulted a staff member with a beer bottle and thrashed several bar employees. The bar's CCTV cameras captured the violent episode.

Some individuals can be seen entering the pub and requesting alcohol at the counter in the video. The following video shows a verbal argument over alcohol pricing turning violent, with individuals punching one another and even attempting to break up the altercation.

Police said the situation turned serious when the group of youths allegedly began attacking bar staff with beer bottles.

Staff members were reportedly assaulted after being struck with bottles and physically beaten during the chaos. Customers who attempted to intervene and calm the situation were also allegedly attacked.

The sudden violence created panic inside the bar, forcing other patrons to rush out of the premises. Authorities said several individuals sustained injuries during the incident, though the exact number has not been officially confirmed.

Police are looking into the situation.
