ATK Mohun Bagan is placed atop the Indian Super League 2020-21 table, having already sealed its place in the playoffs. It would be up against fourth-placed Hyderabad FC on Monday. Meanwhile, Antonio Lopez Habas would be relying on Roy Krishna's expertise again.

Indian Super League giant ATK Mohun Bagan has had a fine debut season in the 2020-21 Indian Super League. While it is placed atop the table, it has also sealed its place in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, as it prepares to take on fourth-placed Hyderabad FC, with the latter well in the race for the playoffs, ATKMB is not taking it lightly. Furthermore, manager Antonio Lopez Habas would be relying on Roy Krishna for his expertise and services, as it looks to continue with the momentum, besides consolidating the top spot.

"I think that Roy is the same important player as last season. In the first few matches, he could not perform his best, as he was without competitive football for six months. Now for me, he is the best player in the league," he was quoted as saying during the pre-match press conference.

Speaking on Hyderabad as a team, Habas had all the respect for it and warned his boys for not being overconfident, especially at the tournament's closing stages. "We have to respect Hyderabad. They are a good team with good players. They have had a good season. We will not be overconfident. In professional football, it is never good for the team. They have a good balance in defence and attack. They are complete in transition," he asserted.

"The three points give me the most satisfaction. But maybe, this win (against SC East Bengal is special) because it is nearer to the final. All ties are important, but this one was more important," he concluded.
