The husband claimed he had been tracking his wife's movements after growing suspicious. Police raided the room and detained both individuals.

A shocking incident has come to light from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, where a husband allegedly caught his wife with her boyfriend inside a private hotel room. The incident took place at a hotel located on Ramghat Road under the jurisdiction of the Quarsi police station, as reported by News 18 Hindi. According to police sources, the husband reached the hotel along with the police after following his wife and finding her entering the hotel with another man.

Husband had been suspicious for days

The husband, identified as Aakash Kumar, is a resident of Gulawthi in Bulandshahr district. He had married the woman in a love marriage about three and a half years ago. However, he claimed that he had become suspicious of his wife's behaviour in recent days. Due to this doubt, he started keeping an eye on her movements.

On Saturday, when his wife left home, Aakash followed her. He allegedly saw her entering a hotel on Ramghat Road with a man identified as Mridul, also known as Nikhil.

Police reach hotel and find the two together

After seeing his wife enter the hotel, Aakash informed the Quarsi police station. Police personnel reached the hotel with him and carried out a raid on the room. During the raid, the woman and the alleged boyfriend were found together inside the room. Both were caught on the spot and taken to the police station for questioning.

Dowry harassment case adds twist to dispute

The situation became more complicated after it emerged that the woman had recently filed a dowry harassment case against her husband. Aakash has alleged that the case was filed deliberately so that she could demand a settlement from him and start a new life with the other man.

These claims have not been independently verified by the police so far.

Video of confrontation circulates online

Meanwhile, a video showing the confrontation between the husband, his wife and the alleged boyfriend has reportedly surfaced on social media. The clip is being widely shared online.

 

The video has triggered discussions on social media, with some users raising questions about the misuse of dowry laws. 

Police investigation underway

Police said all three individuals were brought to the station for questioning, according to News 18 Hindi report. The alleged boyfriend is facing action under Section 497, while the woman was later handed over to her family members.

Officials added that a detailed investigation is currently underway and further information will be shared after the inquiry is completed. No official statement has been issued yet by the people involved.
