Three MPs could get promoted for cycling to work

Synopsis

As the government gears up for its first major reshuffle since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office in 2014, three BJP MPs could get promoted tomorrow for being the most eco-friendly politicians in the cabinet.

Instead of taking luxurious private cars to work Arjun Ram Meghwal, Mansukhbhai Mandavia and Anil Desai decided to cycle to parliament ever since Delhi implemented its odd-even traffic scheme.

According to a report in NDTV, the reputation of being most eco friendly MPs in the cabinet can fetch these politicians a promotion. However, after reports of them joining the council of ministers started surfacing, the three men were seen driving separately to meet BJP President Amit Shah.

Now, one can only wait till tomorrow to see if these MPs will cycle or use their luxurious cars to take oaths as ministers.Currently the council of ministers has 66 members including the Prime Minister.
