Bengaluru: We use sanititiser to keep ourselves safe from getting infected, but what about the groceries? Don't panic, this CoronaOven will help you sanitise your groceries. Not only groceries, but this machine can sanitise your PPE kits, masks and more.
A Bengaluru-based startup has developed a device, which disinfects daily objects and kills the COVID-19 virus in ten minutes using UVC light. Developed by Log9Materials, a nanotechnology company that was started by IIT Roorkee alumni, the device can disinfect fruits and vegetables, kitchen utensils, clothes, slippers too.
This 20-litre gadget comes in two models priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 13,999. The latter is portable and uses a lithium-ion battery. The company is now gearing up for mass production of the device to begin shipping to the public.
