A woman sanitation worker of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation and another person were seriously injured after an overspeeding car crashed into them in Nalgonda, Telangana, in the early hours of Monday. According to reports, the municipal sanitation worker was sweeping waste on the roadside when the car suddenly lost control and rammed into her. The vehicle also hit a person who was travelling on a scooter nearby. The impact was so strong that the car overturned on the road after the crash.

The sanitation worker suffered fractures in both of her legs in the accident. The scooter rider was also seriously injured. Both victims were rushed for medical treatment.
