Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses gathering in Tumakuru, pays tribute to Siddaganga, Pejawar mutt seers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday landed in Karnataka on a 2-day visit to the state. Landing in Bengaluru's Yelahanka’s air base, the Prime Minister headed towards Tumakuru's Shri Siddaganga mutt

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (January 2) arrived in Tumakuru on a two-day visit to Karnataka.

On his arrival, Prime Minister Modi was received by Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa and others.

While addressing the gathering at Shri Siddaganga mutt in Tumakuru, the Prime Minister paid tribute to late Shri Shivakumara Swami and Shri Vishwesha Teertha Swami.

PM Modi also stressed on the achievements of the BJP. During his speech, PM Modi spoke about how the Centre gave its freedom to Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh by abrogating Article 370.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the Citizenship Amendment Act and lashed out at the Congress for not coming forward to help non-Muslim people who faced religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

PM Modi did not miss a chance to urge people to stop using single-use plastic and opt for a better environment. 

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bengaluru's Yelahanka air base on Thursday and headed towards Tumakuru. After addressing the gathering in the Siddaganga mutt, he will attend an event in Junior College Grounds, Tumakuru and address a gathering at the Krishi Karman Awards presentation ceremony.
