Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu): A three-year-old boy accidentally fell into a 35-feet deep borewell in the district on Friday (October 25) and emergency efforts are on to rescue the child. Surjith fell into the borewell at Nadukattupatt around 5:30 pm. The child fell into the borewell while playing near his house. The fire service personnel rushed to the spot and have been striving to pull him out since then.
Meanwhile, the fire service personnel said the child was safe. To take the child to the hospital, an ambulance has been kept ready as soon as he is pulled out. State minister Vellamandi N Natarajan and local police officials are present at the spot.
