As the government continues to combat the effects of the lockdown necessitated by coronavirus, MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar has been trying to help the finance minister with inputs and suggestions from him, citizens/businesses who reached out to him and people he engages with. This is an attempt to ensure schemes announced reach the people as promised by the government and connect the people to the Centre so that the government is able to assess reality easily.
He has engaged with women entrepreneurs and MSMEs on the issue of Rebooting Economy – where he explained the significant measures that the FM and the government have taken to support businesses in the recently announced Rs 20 lakh crore package.
The objective of the MP is to communicate measures as initiated by the GOI and to hear their views, concerns and suggestions.
A few weeks ago, Prime Minister Modi announced a Rs 20 lakh crore package that would help revive a sagging Indian economy.
However, it was the finance minister who gave it shape as she outlined and broke it down in her press conferences.
The package stresses on Atmanirbhar Bharat or self-reliant India.
