Man Finds Ticketless Passengers Inside Train Toilet, Railways Issues Response (WATCH VIRAL VIDEO)

A passenger on the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express posted a viral video showing ticketless travellers occupying the toilet area of a reserved coach. The complaint highlighted their rude behaviour and the inconvenience to other passengers, prompting Railway Seva to notify the DRM of Prayagraj for action.

A passenger's complaint about ticketless travellers occupying the toilet area of a reserved coach on the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express has gone viral on social media. Railway Seva recognised the problem and stated that the Prayagraj DRM had been notified to take appropriate action. Sarfaraz Zain posted the video on X, claiming that a number of passengers without tickets had occupied the reserved compartment's lavatory, making it difficult for other riders to use it properly.

In his post, Zain tagged Railway Seva and sought immediate intervention. He wrote, “Several unauthorised/general passengers are sitting inside the toilet of my reserved coach. The toilet is not being used. When asked to vacate, they are behaving rudely and attempting to intimidate. The coach passage is also obstructed, causing serious inconvenience to passengers. Please immediately send RPF/TTE to take action, get the toilet vacated, and ensure passenger safety.”

The accompanying video showed a group of people sitting inside and around the washroom area of the coach, while passengers could be seen navigating through the congested passage. As the video goes on, Zain tries to confront the men sitting inside the toilet. However, both of them seemed unfazed by his repeated questions and just kept on asking, "tumko use karna hai kya? (do you need to use the toilet?)" in a rude manner.

In response to the X complaint, Railway Seva conveyed the information to the relevant authorities. The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Prayagraj was notified of the problem and asked to take the appropriate action, according to the online response.

Nonetheless, the incident spurred a larger online conversation in which other people voiced their annoyance about what they saw to be an increasing issue on a number of long-distance trains. The frequent entry of ticketless passengers into reserved coaches, according to a number of comments, causes congestion and discomfort for customers who have paid for confirmed reservations.

In order to safeguard the rights of legitimate passengers and stop unlawful transit in reserved compartments, many also questioned if more stringent enforcement measures were required.

The event occurred a few days after a another railway-related video from Patliputra Junction in Bihar went viral. In that video, a family with confirmed AC 2-tier tickets allegedly unable to board their train due to crowded conditions on the platform. Widespread criticism and fresh worries about Indian Railways' overcrowding and passenger management were also sparked by that video.
