Left calls for nationwide strike to protest the policies of central government

Leftists will hold a strike against the Centre's anti-public interest policy. Strikes have been called across the country on November 26. Campaigning in support of the strike is also going on in West Bengal from November 3 to 6. According to sources, left-wing workers will protest in local demand wards and blocks from November 18 to 21.  

Leftists will hold a strike against the Centre's anti-public interest policy. Strikes have been called across the country on November 26. Ten labor organizations and federations are joining the strike. Peasants and farm laborers from the Left party are also joining the strike.

While many are skeptical about the effectiveness of the Left-Congress alliance in the 2021 assembly elections, the CPI(M) has come as a surprise in the just-concluded elections in Bihar. 

Meanwhile, 18 leftist and allied parties, farmworkers, and farmers' organizations called for a simultaneous strike across the country this month (November) against the Centre's anti-people policy. Campaigning in support of the strike is also going on in West Bengal from November 3 to 6. Not only all-India demands, but regional demands have also been taken into account for the strike.

According to sources, left-wing workers will protest in local demand wards and blocks from November 18 to 21. Protests will be held on November 23 and 24 in front of the district magistrate's office. The leftists will march on November 25.
