Thiruvananthapuram: In Kerala's capital Thiruvananthapuram, a woman was allegedly gang-raped by her husband and his friends on Thursday (June 4).

After they force-fed alcohol, the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by six men. Kerala Police have taken four men, including the victim's husband, into custody.

It is reported that the husband had taken the woman and their one-year-old child to the beach at Puthukurichi near Puthanthoppu. From there, the trio went to the husband's friend's house, where the alleged brutal incident happened.

Police said that the woman ran out of the house and passersby saw the victim and took her to the hospital. They also alerted police, which helped them to nab the accused.
