4.50 PM: Certificate forgery case: Accused K Vidya arrested by Nileshwar police, gets interim bail

The accused in the Maharaja's College certificate forgery case and former SFI leader K Vidya was arrested by the Nileshwar police in the case on Tuesday (June 27). However, the Hosdurg Judicial First Class Magistrate Court has granted her interim bail now. The court has asked her to appear on June 30.

2.29 PM: Maharaja's College Certificate forgery case: Nileswaram police records arrest of accused K Vidya

Nileswaram police on Tuesday recorded the arrest of former SFI leader and accused in the Maharaja's College certificate forgery case, K Vidya for submitting a fake certificate at the Karinthalam Government College to obtain a job. She reiterated her statement that nobody helped her to create a forged certificate and she was alone responsible for it. The fake certificate was created through her mobile phone.


12.41 PM: Massive fire breaks out at waste treatment plant at Palakkad; Officials suspect foul play

The Koottupatha waste treatment facility in the Palakkad district had a significant fire on Tuesday at 2.00 am. Eight fire engine units arrived and put out the fire. The fire was noticed on the rear side of the waste treatment plant. Palakkad municipal authorities suspect foul play and believe that anti-social elements may have set the fire. Officials stated that they would report the incident to the police. The waste treatment plant has an area of ​​eight acres.

2008 Bengaluru blast case accused and PDP chairman Abdul Nasser Madani was admitted to a hospital in Ernakulam soon after his arrival in Kerala on Monday evening. He was taken ill en route to his hometown in Kollam and was admitted to a private hospital in the city. As per reports, he vomited several times and his blood pressure was higher than normal.

8.00 AM: MSM college fake certificate: Second accused Abin C Raj captured from Kochi Airport

Former SFI leader Abin C Raj and second accused in the certificate forgery case in MSM College, Kayamkulam was taken into custody on Monday (June 26) at 11 pm. He was nabbed from the Cochin International Airport upon his arrival from Maldives. He is accused of helping first accused Nikhil Thomas in obtaining a fake B.Com degree certificate.
