According to reports, devotees who reach the shrine with the negative report should be allowed to take up a fresh test at the entry point of the shrine. Devotees who are above the age of 60 should also have a certificate claiming that they don't suffer from other illnesses.
From Monday to Friday, pilgrims should be allowed to enter the shrine and 2,000 devotees should be permitted on Saturdays and Sundays, suggested the expert committee. The committee added that a base camp at Nilackal should be opened for COVID tests and screening of devotees.
