
Bengaluru: Good news for Goa lovers as Karnataka State Road Transportation Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to resume bus services to the neighbouring state.
The KSRTC has decided to resume services to Goa from Monday, as a part of resuming inter-state services amid Covid-19 pandemic.
An official statement by the KSRTC read “As lockdown has been relaxed, KSRTC will restart operations to Goa from September 7.”
To begin with, buses have been planned to Goa from Bengaluru and Mysuru and later from other cities depending on the passenger density.

The inter-state bus transport service had come to halt since mid-March in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
Since September 1, the Central government has relaxed guidelines under Unlock 4.0, with opening state borders.
Wearing of face masks and following all the social distancing norms is compulsory for all the passengers throughout the journey.
Meanwhile, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has also resumed operations of 34 Vajra (air-conditioned Volvo) buses on six routes including Hosakote, Attibele, Kadugodi, Hebbal, and ITPL from Monday.
