He wrote, "On behalf of Tuluvas of Tulunadu, in recognition of our immense contributions, may I request you to accord official status for Tulu language & urge the central Govt to include Tulu language in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.?

The actor-director wrote, "Tulu is the only one among the five popular Dravidian languages which hasn’t got its due. Request @CMofKarnataka to have a look into this campaign and do the needful #TuluTo8thSchedule #TuluOfficialinKA_KL."
