When moving to a new location, most people anticipate positive changes and the beginning of a new chapter. Unfortunately, the shift started with an extremely dangerous and repulsive event for this Delhi woman and her flatmate. The woman posted about her first day at her new residence on social media. While on the balcony, the woman's roommate noticed a man standing close to the house, appearing to be waiting for something. But as it turned out, the man was only waiting for young ladies to leave their PG, which was located next to the new flat.
The women were even more surprised by what transpired next. The "creep" allegedly "pulled down his pants" and started to "masturbate" as soon as he noticed a woman leaving the PG. The flatmates were horrified and phoned the Delhi police, but by the time they could intervene, the guy had already departed.
When the woman's flatmate returned to the balcony the following day, the same thing happened, but this time the two were quick to contact and work with the police, which led to the man's eventual capture.
“The type of exposure I get in Delhi,” a user said. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘sa_rita_26’. The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 14K from people.
The incident went viral, pulling many reactions. Most found it “scary and ugly", while others recalled their own similar experiences.
One user said, "Now Mukherjee nagar police would be like–toh mat jao balcony me (Then don't go in the balcony)."
The next individual said, "Where is this happening exactly? My friends and I are willing to take care of it our way." Another person said, "This has happened to me once and feels so disgusting."
Another individual said, "If girls of PG have seen this before, then this man comes frequently so he can be caught the next time." .“Happened the same with him in Kamla Nagar, to assume that he was just drunk does not make it any better. Stay safe,” added another.
