An image of hundreds of buses standing in a row on a highway went viral on social media days ago. The netizens also claimed that these buses were arranged by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi to help the stranded migrants of Uttar Pradesh. But, the chief minister of UP Yogi Adityananth denied permission for them to ply.

Is there something fishy in this story? Are these buses arranged by Priyanka? And did CM deny permission for them to ply?

Here is the truth:
The picture which went viral on social media was taken at Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj last year. And those buses seen in the picture was a parade of 500 buses by Uttar Pradesh, which created a Guinness World Record for the largest parade.

Meanwhile, the UP government led by CM Yogi Adityanath on May 18 accepted Priyanka Gandhi's request for providing 1,000 buses to facilitate migrants travel to the state.

According to reports, the Congress has sent two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and even 4-wheelers to Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government to help migrants. This comes after Yogi's complaint that the Congress hasn't provided any details of the promised 1,000 buses to facilitate migrants’ travel.
