D Cold Total, Combiflam and Folic acid found substandard among 60 tablets

60 tablets have failed the standard test conducted by the CDSCO The tests were conducted last month These tablets will carry the tag ‘Not of standard quality’

As a result, these tablets' cover will carry the note 'Not of standard quality' on its labels. As many as 60 tablets have found to be under the "Not of standard quality'. D Cold Total is manufactured and sold by Sanofi India and Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare India.

Besides, Oflox-100 DT and Theo Asthalin tablets of Cipla's and Cadila's Cadilose solution too have found to be under substandard.

In fact, Combiflam tablets manufactured in 2015 (A151195 batch) had failed the disintegration test of CDSCO, reports Indian Express. Three years ago too similar complaints were raised against Combiflam and its manufacturer Sanofi India had recalled the 'compromised batches'. Hence, it is necessary for people to check the tag 'not of substandar quality' before buying these 60 medicines.
