Coronavirus: Kerala minister Thomas Isaac discharged from hospital after recovering from COVID-19

Finance minister Thomas Isaac has been discharged from the hospital after recovering from COVID-19.
 


Thiruvananthapuram: After recovering from coronavirus, finance minister Thomas Isaac has been discharged from hospital. On September 6, the minister was hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19.

Following Isaac testing positive for novel coronavirus, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, health minister KK Shailaja, AC Moideen, E Chandrasekharan, VS Sunil Kumar, Kadannappally Ramachandran and KT Jaleel were among the ministers who went into quarantine.

The second minister who tested positive for coronavirus in the state is Kerala Industries minister EP Jayarajan. His wife too had tested positive and was shifted to hospital.

The minister and wife were shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital at Pariyaram on September 11. According to sources, four of his office staff have been quarantined.
