Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jai Ram Thakur has self-isolated himself for three days after a BJP MLA from Banjar in Kullu district who had met him during the inauguration of Atal Tunnel Rohtang was tested positive for Covid-19.
The spokesperson said the chief minister had on October 3 met some persons in Manali, who tested positive for coronavirus infection on Sunday.
The CM will work from home during his quarantine period, he added.

According to Times of India report, He also did not attend the teachers function. BJP MLA from Banjar Surender Shourie who had attended the Atal Tunnel Rohtang inauguration function has been tested positive.
Himachal Pradesh has reported three Covid deaths and 12 positive cases on Monday while 180 positive patients have also recovered.
State has now 15,863 positive cases of which 3,102 cases are active, 12,521 patients have recovered, 215 patients have died while 20 have migrated out of the state.
Positive cases reported include 11 from Chamba district and one from Kinnaur district. Those recovered include 30 from Bilaspur district, 14 from Chamba district, 3 from Hamirpur district, 18 from Kinnaur district, 56 from Shimla district, 31 from Sirmaur district and 28 from Una district.
