Noida’s Raksha Gopal topped the Humanities stream and her marks sheet is going viral Raksha Gopal scored 99.6% with a perfect hundred in English, Political Science and Economics Raksha Gopal lost one mark in History and one in Psychology taking her total to 498 out of 500

Girls continue to dominate the CBSE Class XII results for a third consecutive year. Three of the four all-India toppers are girls. Noida’s Raksha Gopal, 17, topped the Humanities stream and her marks sheet is going viral. And it will give you serious study goals.

The daughter of Gopal Srinivasan, the chief finance officer of Gujrat State Petroleum Corporation, and Ranjani Gopal scored 99.6% with a perfect hundred in English, Political Science and Economics. She lost one mark in History and one in Psychology taking her total to 498 out of 500.

 

However, the overall pass percentage dipped this year. The pass percentage this year is 82.02% this year as compared to 83.05% last year, down by 1.03%.The pass percentage of girls, 87.5%, is higher than that of boys, 78%.

Raksha Gopal, who was a student of Amity International School Noida, is a certified keyboard player and a voracious reader. She wishes to study Political Science from Delhi University and is already looking to get into Shri Ram College, Miranda House or Jesus and Mary College.
