JEE Advanced exam on July 3, no 75% eligibility criteria

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has announced that the JEE (Advanced) - 2021 examination will be conducted on July 3, 2021. The exam will be held as a computer-based test and will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur after the final merit list of JEE Main 2021 will be released.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that the JEE (Advanced)-2021 examination will be conducted on July 3, 2021.

In a relief for students, the minister said that the eligibility criteria of scoring a minimum 75 per cent in Class 12th had been relaxed for taking admission in IITs this year. The relaxation was given last year as well.

He also informed that the computer-based JEE (Advanced)-2021 exam will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur after the final merit list of JEE Main 2021 will be released.

Students who were unable to appear for the exam in 2020 will be allowed to appear for the exam. While filling out the application form, candidates will be required to enter their preferred JEE Advanced 2021 exam centres.

The last date to apply for JEE Main 2021 is January 16. The last date to submit the application fee is January 17, 2021.
