Police nab KEA scandal kingpin in Maharashtra

R.D. Patil, an illegal kingpin, was arrested in Maharashtra after evading authorities for 12 days. He was caught in a police trap in Maharashtra after having escaped from Kalaurgi's Varada apartment.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had uncovered irregularities in the FDA examination held on the 28th, prompting an investigation. The police detained nine candidates from Afazalpur in the Kalaburagi district and Sindagi in the Vijayapur district in Yadgiri on charges related to the illegalities in the exam. These individuals were taken into custody for further interrogation.
