Boy accused of blackmailing and shooting pornographic video arrested in Bhilai

A boy accused of blackmailing and shooting a pornographic video of his female friend has been arrested in Kumhari city near Bhilai

Bhilai: Police have arrested a boy who has been blackmailing a girl. The incident is of Kumhari city near Bhilai. On 15 August the man shot a pornographic video of the girl and then circulated it on WhatsApp groups. When the girl’s family came to know about the incident, they reported about it to the nearest police station and now the police has taken necessary action in the case. The boy’s relatives are being questioned in the same regard. According to the information received the boy has been identified as Dakeshwar Banjare. According to the sources, he had visited his maternal grandmother’s house in 2017. He had befriended a 21-year-old girl who used to live nearby. After a few days, he confessed his love for the girl.

The sources add that the two started talking over the phone and sometimes used to interact via video call too. After a few days, the boy shot the girl’s video while she was having a bath. After that, he started demanding money from the girl. He asked for Rs 1,000 the first time. The girl gave the money from her pocket money. The accused did not stop and kept demanding for money. A few months back the girl refused to give money and stopped talking with the boy. The boy got angry and posted the video on a WhatsApp group. The girl’s aunt’s son was part of the WhatsApp group. He informed about the video to the girl’s family. Now the police are investigating the case.
