
After the ‘Duare Sarkar’ program received an unprecedented response, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced a new drive namely ‘Paray Paray Samadhan’ scheme. According to the CM’s announcement, a new program has been started with the aim of resolving various local problems.
Government officials are taking initiative to solve minor problems in the area by holding discussions with the residents. In the first phase of implementation of this project, Nabanna (state secretariat) allocated Rs 50 lakhs for each district.

A principal secretary-level officer would lead a dedicated task force to address these issues that would be resolved in a time-bound manner. Moreover, all the complainants would inform about the work progress in a timely manner. The main aim of this scheme is to give instant solutions to the problems so that residents of the locality do not suffer.
While Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme was for individuals and families, Paray Paray Samadhan Scheme was more community-centric.

According to the demands of the local people, various works will be started with the funds provided by the state government. Recently, the Finance Department has issued a notification in this regard.
In addition to this, through several modes including grievance redressal mechanism at the chief minister’s office (CMO) – 10,000 issues had been found that could be solved at the local level. These issues include problems at local level such as constructing culverts, adding a schoolroom, or even repairing water pipelines.
