RPF officials save a woman from being run over by train in Maharashtra; Watch video

A woman lost balance and slipped while getting off the moving Mahanagari Express in Thane. 

Avoiding a severe mishap in Maharashtra’s Thane railway station, two Railway Protection Force personnel and a civilian rescued a woman from being run over by a train.

According to sources, the woman recognised as Dhanpatti Raju Bharadwaj has lost balance and slipped while getting off the moving Mahanagari Express Train.

The whole incident was recorded on a CCTV camera. In the video, two security officials — Assistant sub-inspector Sattar Sheikh and sub-inspector Nitin Patil and a civilian rushed and pulled the woman from getting crushed under the running train.  

The woman's husband, Raju Bharadwaj, thanked the officials for saving his wife's life.
