
Junior commissioned officers and soldiers of the Indian armed forces will be discussing human resource-related issues with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Combined Commanders Conference to start from Thursday at Kevadia in Gujarat.
The Conference would culminate on March 6 with an address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The JCOs and soldiers of Army, Navy and Air Force will be discussing the morale and motivation matters with the prime minister on the last day of the CCC," a senior official said.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to address the Conference on March 5.
The Commanders of three services and the Commander-in-Chief of Strategic Forces Andaman Nicobar Command and Vice Chiefs will discuss all aspects pertaining to the service issues and the overall security scenario of the country.
"There will be discussions on the situation along the Line of Actual Control, Northern Borders and the Western Borders with Pakistan," the official added.
The commanders will also deliberate upon issues related to modernisation, infrastructure developments and human resources in the armed forces.
